'A' In Patient Safety
The LeapFrog Group
We've made the grade! For four consecutive years, we have received an 'A' on our patient safety report card. Cartersville was honored in Spring 2018 by The LeapFrog Group for publicly reporting quality metrics that reflect how we keep our patients safe from errors, injuries, accidents and infections.
Our 'A' is compiled from 27 different national patient safety categories and scored on an 'A' - 'F' scale. The Leapfrog Group's grading rubric is based on items such as responsiveness, documenting prescription orders and hand hygiene, to name a few.
