The Sleep Disorder Center at Cartersville Medical Center is fully equipped to educate, diagnose and treat sleep disorders. Our Sleep Center provides a comfortable homelike atmosphere. Patients will spend the night at the Center located within the main hospital in a private bedroom with all the conveniences of home. Registered sleep technologists record and score the sleep patterns. Board Certified Sleep Physicians interpret the study and will recommend a treatment plan with your referring physician.
The Center also provides Neurodiagnostic services. These services include digital EEGs (electroencephalograms), prolonged digital video EEG monitoring, Ambulatory EEGs and Evoked Potential studies. Services are provides to all age groups from neonatal to adult geriatric. A registered technologist performs the study and an Adult and/or Pediatric Neurologist interprets the study.
