New Emergency Director joins Cartersville Medical Center

Nena Worsham, RN, has been named Director of Emergency Services at Cartersville Medical Center. In this role, Worsham will be responsible for all patient care provided by the emergency department. She is responsible for a staff of seventy-three (73) employees and also works closely with all of the emergency transport services.

New Chief Nursing Officer joins Cartersville Medical Center

Miriam Eide, RNC, BSN, MSN has been named Chief Nursing Officer of Cartersville Medical Center. In her role as CNO, Eide is responsible for all nurse related patient care, nursing employees, quality care initiatives and nurse related patient satisfaction. She is responsible for a staff of over three hundred and fifty (350) employees delivering patient care.

Most people are very aware of today’s date as the beginning of the Summer Olympic Games, but it also serves as a very special day for the Kingsland Family for a different reason. Today at Cartersville Medical Center, Lori Kingsland delivered her third child at exactly 8:08am.

Japanese TV Crew Films Physician at CMC

On Monday, August 4th, a Japanese TV film crew will be at Cartersville Medical Center to film one of the hospitals Radiologist performing a procedure.
