We recently became an accredited Chest Pain Center, which simply means that we have proven we have the knowledge, resources and staff to identify and treat patients with chest pain. We’re very proud of this accomplishment and look forward to expanding our cardiac service offerings this year.
The Hope Center, our regional cancer treatment facility, provides radiation therapy and is staffed by board-certified, M.D. Anderson-trained radiation oncologists. The Hope Center has access to the latest clinical trials through relationships with the American Cancer Society and other research organizations. Patient resources include nutritional consultation, psychosocial support, pastoral care, prosthesis and wig resources, pastoral care and much more.
For communities south of Cartersville, we offer urgent care and imaging services at Acworth Immediate Care and Acworth Imaging Center, conveniently located just off Highway 41 in Acworth.
Along with our technical advancements, we are equally fortunate to boast a staff of highly trained and qualified physicians. Along with a very strong base of primary care physicians, Cartersville Medical Center is home to numerous medical specialties. Please check our online physician directory to learn more about our physician team, receive a free physician referral online, or register for events classes online. Last year, we welcomed a talented group of Hospitalists on board. Hospitalists are specially trained in inpatient care and manage and direct the care of the patient while he or she is in the hospital. Our hospitalists are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and consult with specialists as needed.
